Nasir-i-Khusrau

Born 1003 CE. A Persian traveler, who passed through Palestine on his way to Mecca. He was in Jerusalem in 1047, and his description of the Haram area is most valuable, as it is the last one before the Crusader period. His diary was originally written in Persian and then translated to Arabic.
